Advertising Policy
Psychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology (PCP) Advertising Policy
General Principles
The Psychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology (PCP) accepts advertising in both online and print versions. Advertisers have no information about the content of the journal before it is published and they have no control over the editorial processes and decisions. All advertisements are subject to editorial approval. The PCP Editor reserves the right to reject or cancel an ad at any time. Advertisements must clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being advertised. Advertisements are easily and clearly distinguished from the content of the journal. Psychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology does not support any company, product or service as a consequence of their advertisements published in its issues. In case the advertisements include citations, these citations should be published in press materials only.
Pharmaceutical advertisements must conform to all regulations and policies and medical preparations governed by the Regulation on the Promotion of the Medicinal Products for Human Use ("Promotion Regulation") which is based on Pharmaceutical and Medical Preparations Law numbered 1262 in Turkey. Products and services and their indicated uses must conform to principles of acceptable medical practice and of medical ethics. Advertisers must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the manufacture, distribution, and sale of product or service. The Editor may require than an advertiser offer proof of the efficacy or reliability of any products, devices, instruments, tests, and related technology or equipment, and no advertisement for such product will be accepted for which, in the sole opinion of the Editor, proof of efficacy or reliability cannot be demonstrated.
Acceptance of advertising by the PCP does not in any way constitute endorsement or approval by the association of the advertised service or product, and advertisers may not make or imply such claims in any way. The advertiser is responsible for the timely submission of proposed advertisements that will permit a review of the advertisement by the Editor prior to publication. The PCP Editor may accept, reject, or require that changes be made in any advertisement. At the Editor’s sole discretion, an advertisement in which the Editor requires changes to be made may be published in its original form until the change is made, provided that the advertiser agrees to the speedy revision of the advertisement.
Psychiatry and Clinical Psychopharmacology reserves the right to change its advertising policies without notice.
